What a difference a few years make. Much has been written about the B2B, or “boom to bust” as many like to refer to it, phenomenon of the past few years. Many corporations looked to the internet and the nascent B2B software industry to change the supply chain world. While the much-maligned industry has not necessarily lived up to its hype, the Supply Chain landscape has certainly changed. The introduction of technologies such as internet-based ordering, online marketplaces and online auctions has had a dramatic impact on the way companies conduct business.
