Taking the eSupply Chain - Beyond eProcurement

Practically every major U.S. company has implemented, or is contemplating implementing an eProcurement program these days. We can all speculate about the rate at which eProcurement will become a reality, but one thing is certain – eProcurement is here to stay, and eventually will impact the way that every company conducts business with its suppliers. The real question regarding eProcurement is: what’s next? What paradigms will be changed as a result of eProcurement? What new approaches will it spawn? Just as personal computers ushered in the information age, eProcurement will usher in a new age of supplier relationships and sourcing approaches.
