Consultant's Job Description:
Denali Consulting has six levels: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager, Director and Partner.
Consultants and Senior Consultants participate in all activities of an engagement, including data gathering, developing conclusions and recommendations, working with clients, preparing reports, and making client presentations. Normally a Consultant or Senior Consultant works on one assignment at a time. A typical engagement involves a team of 2-4 people, including a Project Manager and may last three months to a year or more.
Managers, Senior Managers and Directors perform consulting tasks and may be responsible for directing the activities of client engagements. Partners consult, perform project management functions, develop new business opportunities, and are responsible for the overall quality of consulting work performed on an assignment. As owners of Denali Consulting, Partners are responsible for maintaining ongoing relationships with clients, and for management of the firm as a whole.
