Don has extensive experience managing and participating in consulting engagements relating to strategic sourcing, procurement strategy and improvement, supply chain management, and logistics optimization. He has consulted with numerous Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe across a variety of industries, including energy, aerospace, manufacturing, and financial institutions. Peter Nero is Senior Vice President of Denali Sourcing Services, a premier sourcing services provider. After graduating from Tepper Business School at Carnegie Mellon University, Peter worked as an independent consultant facilitating a Fortune 100 company’s North American on-line procurement and reverse auction program. He then joined the consulting firm Booz Allen, and during his six-year tenure successfully managed strategy development, large-scale organizational transformation, process reengineering and organization performance management for Fortune 500 organizations in manufacturing, energy, and entertainment, as well as federal government entities. Alan C. Veeck, Ph.D. is Vice President at Denali Sourcing Services, a Denali Group division focused on providing on-demand sourcing execution services to the Global 1000. He is focused on developing collaborative relationships with Procurement executives to improve their organizations’ effectiveness, efficiency, and reach. Before joining Denali Sourcing Sources, Alan was a Partner with Meakem Becker Venture Capital, a traditional venture capital firm focused on making significant investments in early-stage startup companies. Darshan Deshmukh is Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Denali Sourcing Services. Darshan’s role is to drive procurement transformation for clients, managing global service delivery and end-to-end operations. Prior to joining Denali Group, Darshan served for 10 years with IBM and worked across multiple supply chain disciplines to deliver cost reductions, drive E2E supply chain reengineering, design and develop globally integrated enterprises (GIEs), and develop organizational capabilities. Sherri Barnes, Director of Denali Intelligence, is a charter member of Denali Group’s intelligence service line and leads the market intelligence function, providing in-depth insight into key supply chains and commodities. Sherri’s industry experience includes more than 20 years in the energy and utility sector where she held various finance, risk management, project development, and strategic planning roles for Pantellos, El Paso Corporation, the Williams Companies, and Anadarko Petroleum. Sherri earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Houston and MBA degrees in Marketing and International Business from the University of Saint Thomas. Chris Eyerman is the Senior Director of Program Management for Denali Sourcing Services. Chris leads Denali’s Program Management capabilities to design, deliver and continuously improve sourcing programs that deliver real, lasting value and creates permanent change in how our customers conduct sourcing. He is a senior supply chain and program management executive with over 25 years of technical and business experience, including 15 years leading strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain transformation programs, and program management. Prior to joining Denali Group, he served roles in program management, business development, product management and operations at FreeMarkets, Ariba, and Exostar. Chris holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State, an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Lauren Gallagher is the Director of Operations for Denali Group’s Pittsburgh Service Delivery Center. Lauren’s role is to align the optimal resources ensuring that delivery is efficiently and effectively seamless across clients. She takes pride in helping create strategies, improve productivity, and manage quality in collaboration with the other Denali Delivery Centers.Immediately prior to joining Denali, Lauren led Accenture’s North and South American Category Management Delivery organization within the Procurement BPO operations. She managed a delivery team of 100+ resources responsible for over of $2.5B in spend. In this role, Lauren co-sponsored the development and implementation of a robust category methodology to ensure consistent and cost-effective delivery leveraging best practices globally.Prior to Accenture, through Lauren’s Consulting and Operations roles at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets), she was key in creating foundational infrastructure and processes to support flexible and effective client delivery in a fast-growing and constantly expanding consultative procurement environment. Earlier roles included leading procurement consulting engagements across half a dozen Fortune 500 diversified manufacturers, as well as sales and supply chain roles within the steel industry. David Jungling is responsible for Program Management across many customer sectors at Denali Group’s Pittsburgh office. David’s role is to drive successful customer programs that enable customer value across spend analysis, sourcing, contracting and supplier performance. David is also responsible for continuing customer growth and satisfaction for Denali clients. Prior to joining Denali Sourcing Services, David has had 25 years of experience with managing customers across industries, such as: aerospace and defense, automotive, diversified manufacturing, and retail industries. He has managed sourcing projects in excess of $2B in spend— in direct and indirect categories for Fortune 500 customers. David’s career has spanned multinational corporations and startups including General Motors, Delphi, FreeMarkets, Co-eXprise and Exostar. David has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a MS in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Gregg Cooper is a Director for Program Management in Denali’s Pittsburgh office. Gregg designs and leads client initiatives that deliver and continuously improve lasting value with how clients conduct their sourcing and procurement contracting programs. Additionally, Gregg focuses on expanding Denali’s presence within the financial services industry. Gregg brings over 20 years of experience in large-scale program management with more than 10 years in the financial services sector. Prior to joining Denali Sourcing Services, Gregg was an executive at Bank of America focusing on BPO and acquisition integration. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Ariba (formerly FreeMarkets) leading program management initiatives for some of the company’s largest global clients. Gregg holds a BA from American University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He and his wife, Corry, and four sons reside in Sewickley, PA.
